For ArcelorMittal, Vander Plaetsen regularly performs mechanical maintenance on installations in the raw materials department. Wear-sensitive parts are measured on site, newly produced, and installed again. Depending on the application, this is done in plain steel, galvanized steel, or stainless steel — always in consultation
